Week 76--Serve and proclaim

So, lots of meetings this week, and it's kept us out of our area for a lot of the days this week. It's made it a little bit harder to feel like a real missionary since there wasn't as much time doing the work. The last couple days however we did have the opportunity to just walk or bike, rather than using the truck, and it's felt great, we've been out on our feet proclaiming the gospel! It's great to be a missionary. Prayer and faith put into action helps me fulfill my purpose.

This week I want to testify that life continues for us all, even after our mortal bodies give our spirits up to their place of rest. Our Heavenly Father knows each of us, He created us, he has preserved us and nurtured us, and all things are done in his wisdom. No matter how hard the trials are that we face, or how hard our choices become, we can know most surely that he has a plan for us all, and that there is nowhere we can go that Christ's light and power cannot lift us from. We simply must let him in. We can also rest assured that he judges not only by our actions but the feelings and intent of our hearts. He is our perfect judge! We can never repay, we can only repent, and when our honest efforts don't seem to be enough, his grace fills our souls, and we will be made whole.

With love,
Elder Rodgers
