Week 83--Power of setting goals

Hello, everyone!

So this week, shortly after getting back from the conference with Elder Cornish a member of our ward invited someone he met to do the discussions with us. We taught him the restoration and the spirit in that lesson was so strong. At the end he gave the closing prayer and we paused for a moment and our member asked him how he felt. He replied, "I feel really good." He is golden.

Sunday night at about 8:30 we decided we would find three new investigators. The first door we knocked in the second neighborhood, we found a family of 3. They're so solid. The father invited us in and we taught a little bit about how the restoration of the gospel will bless his family. He was very willing to have us back and he was very open and sincere.

We went on an exchange with the assistants, and I went with Elder Atkinson.

He's a good elder, we had a sweet exchange, and we found two new investigators, which was our goal that day as well. I've noticed there is so much power in setting goals, and doing everything you can to find people to teach, and praying that the Lord will put someone in your path. I know he will.

Also we got our blood taken!

Love to you all!
Elder Rodgers
